Ishe Anesu Project for Underprivileged Children
GOAL: 400 – Every Church Participates!
Pack in a NEW CLEAN food-grade 5-gallon bucket with lid.
1 corn meal (4-5 lbs) (can be white or yellow)
1 bag/box grits buttered flavored (can be instant) (12 oz or less)
1 bag self-rising flour (4-5 lbs)
1 bag of rice (2 lb) (white)
1 bag dried beans (2 lb) (any kind)
1 powered milk (10 oz or less)
1 box old fashioned oats (18 ox or less)
1 bottle cooking oil (48 oz or less) (any kind of oil)
1 box Splenda/sucralose (50 ct or less)
Canned Ham (one 2 lb size or two 1 lb size)
CONTENTS: Only purchase what is asked for. When going through customs all items have to be the same.
If an item is left out of a bucket, place a note on the bucket when delivered at drop off.
BUCKETS & LIDS – Do NOT put lid on bucket! Purchase a new & clean food grade 5 gallon bucket with lid. No previously used buckets! At the drop off, please leave lid OFF. The buckets have to be inspected before the lid is placed on it.
DROP – OFF: Crossroads UMC (200 Bays Cove Tr, Kingsport, TN 37660)
Tuesday, June 5: 9 am – 3 pm, Wednesday, June 6: 9 am – Noon, Conference Truck will load at 1 pm on Wed, June 6
COST: $5/kit for shipping. Bring One check from church. The check is to be written
to Kingsport District and marked “Hands-On Kits.” Do not put checks in buckets.
The one check from the church should be placed in an envelope and marked with the church name, how
many kits & amount enclosed. Bring envelope to bucket drop-off point.
VOLUNTEERS are always needed! Content inspection, truck loading, etc. College students can use this as community service hours.
